The Region of Peloponnese, through "Peloponnisos SA", co-organizes with the Chamber of Messinia, the Tourist Accommodation Association "Magiki Messinia", the Association of Owners of Stores of Health Interest, the School of Tourism of Kalamata and “Alterna Messinia”, the 1st Peloponnesian Exhibition of Alternative Tourism, in Kalamata on 19-21 April 2019.
The 1st Peloponnesian Exhibition of Alternative Tourism aims to promote all businesses active in the field of tourism of special interests. With delegations from all Chambers of the Region, special institutional actors and representatives of the tourism industry, the exhibition wants through clusters and meetings with tour operators to have immediate results through the establishment of professional partnerships.
The exhibition includes all tourist services, which are differentiated in accordance with the specific needs, preferences and incentives of tourists. It is aimed at companies that deal one or more specific and / or alternative forms of tourism, such as: Recreational sports tourism, Sea tourism, Rural tourism, Gastronomic tourism, Health and wellness tourism.
The 1st Peloponnesian Exhibition of Alternative Tourism aims to respect the principles of sustainable development and to contribute to the expansion of tourism by reducing the seasonality of tourism demand. The entrance will be free for the public who can be informed by parallel events (educational, informative and cultural)."
