Erymanthos River

The core of continental Greece intersects with the E4 Long Distance Trail (-GR), which starts from the Pyrenees and reaches Greece at the military guard of Nike in Florina, via Serbia. The E4 crosses the Peloponnese, stops at Gythio, and continues in Crete. The E4 Trail promotes the variety of the Greek landscape, especially in the Peloponnese, which wins you over every step of the way.

If you are up for some extreme rafting and kayaking, then Upper Loussios (aka Ano Loussios) provides you with a great challenge. Be prepared for an adrenaline shock and don’t let the crystal clear waters or the plane trees on the river shores mislead you. The scenery may be picture perfect, but it demands your best.
