Arcadic Village

If you want to swim in a sea of bliss, then you have to visit the beach of the Arcadic Village. It’s a small bay with clear waters, beautiful pebbles, and green surroundings. It’s not an organized one, but it has toilettes, showers, and shadow tents. It’ s ideal for swimming and relaxing and it is not very busy, which gives you the chance to spend some quality time with yourself.

Ververonta

If you want to test some special waters, then the lagoon of Ververonta is a cool choice. Its setting is unique and along with its rare warm waters, it constitutes an important natural reserve for the area. Moreover, it’s "blessed" with strong winds for the surfing aficionados, while it’s great for all sorts of sports or for the ultimate sport of "sweet doing nothing".

Vagionia

If you want to swim where, most probably, ancient people used to bathe, then don’t miss the Vagionia Beach. It’s located next to the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus and it has a sandy beach with crystal clear turquoise waters and lush vegetation that creates spots with great shadow. The beach is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, and camping facilities, which makes it ideal for doing nothing at all.

Sendoni

If you want to spend all day laying on the sand, then you can take it easy at Sendoni Beach. It’s a small beach with soft sand and blue waters, within the city of Ermioni, that’s protected from the wind. At Sendoni Beach, you can enjoy the sea, as well as a stroll at the small port for a coffee, a bite or some extra dose of fun.

Romvi, Koronissi, Daskalio

If you want to get that island feeling, then the Peloponnese can grant your wishes. There are 3 small islands, just a few miles away from the town of Tolo; the islands of Romvi, Koronissi, and Daskalio. They may be tiny, but they are full of castles, small churches, and little secluded beaches that offer some big moments of total calmness.

Psili Ammos

If you want to relax in an extra large natural swimming pool, then you can lay your beach towel on the beach of Psili Ammos. It’s a windless beach with thin sand and really clear waters, just like a swimming pool. It’s an organized beach that offers facilities for a variety of beach and waters sports, plenty of beach bars, and tavernas. Moreover, it has shallow waters and a water park that makes it perfect for children.

Petrothalassa

If you want to add some color to your day, then Petrothalassa Beach will update your mood. It’s well known for its vivid colours, its golden sand, and blue waters. It’s not an organized beach and, if you are lucky, you can enjoy it completely alone. It’s the kind of beach that’s kind to those who need some personal space.

Kouverta

If you like both pebbles and sand, then Kouverta Beach (or Mavronissi) offers the perfect mix.  It’s situated in a small bay with turquoise waters and one part of the beach is covered with sand, while the other has small shiny pebbles and lush vegetation. The waters are really calm and the hundreds of sea urchins prove that they are really clean and clear.  Also, there’s a beach volley tournament every year, in case you’re interested.

Kondyli

If you want to find yourself in one of the most idyllic beaches of Nafplio, then you have to enjoy the beauty of Kondyli Beach. It has amazing waters and three very promising beach bars that cool you down, any time you want. On the way back, try one of the fish tavernas that you will find in the area of Vivari for some mouth watering specialties.

Kastraki

If you want to take a break from the cosmopolitan beaches of Argolida, then you can go to the beach of Kastraki. It’s a gorgeous small beach with a mix of small pebbles and sand, as well as really blue waters. The best part is that’s its right next to the walls of Ancient Assini and it adds a touch of history to your refreshing day.
